Ive caught up to this one and I was blessed by your discussion of God's will for the church in your sermon and a prescription for being worthy of persecution:

devoted to one another in love and fellowship, holiness-repentance and a hatred toward sin, a bold evangel witness. be thankful always, be joyful in the promsises of God, make disciples of Christ.

your reading of 1 Peter 3:8-22 fit in so well in helping visualize your teaching on Acts in my life. To boldy proclaim the Gospel admist a primary awareness and fear of God's holiness. A call to holiness, and to always be ready, urgently ready, in every part of my life, to give a reasoned witness to Christ that is communicated with gentleness and respect. Very convicting.

Im not sure what you mean by freindship evangelism, but yes, more than one method, or any method that involves a sense of urgency rooted in those "three things" you pulled from scripture should be the focus of evangelism.

By the way, I was especially blessed in the sermon before this about church holiness.
